Boot Care Guide

Keep your ankle and knee-high boots looking fresh through every season.

Cleaning after wear

Wipe down leather boots with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each wear to remove dust and surface grime before it sets in. For suede boots, use a dedicated suede brush rather than water, which can stain the material.

Conditioning leather

Leather boots need conditioning every 4-6 weeks to prevent the material from drying out and cracking, especially during winter months. A thin, even layer of leather conditioner restores flexibility and helps the boot last for years rather than one season.

Weatherproofing

Apply a waterproof spray before the monsoon season, even on boots marketed as water-resistant — this adds an extra protective layer against staining and water damage during heavy rain.

Off-season storage

Stuff boots with shoe trees or acid-free paper to help them hold their shape while in storage, and keep them upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can dry out and discolor leather over time.
