How to measure your feet
Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall. Mark the longest part of your foot (usually the big toe) on the paper. Measure the length in centimeters. Repeat for the other foot.
Account for foot width
Some shoe styles are narrower than others. If you have wide feet, look for styles designated as wide-fit or consider going up half a size to ensure adequate toe box room.
Allow room for movement
Your toes should have about 1 cm of space at the front of the shoe to allow for natural flexing and foot swelling during long hours of walking or standing.
